Hi,
I believe I've found the source of my confusion. When a file is deleted in
CVS, then revised by another user, cvs checkout will not produce the file,
however cvs checkout -D now will. I'm uncertain if that's a bug or a
feature, use of checkout -D ... seems to be the safer way to go.
Here
, and relative shifts in the client clock. cvs status reports that
the resurrected file(s) are up to date and the repository revision contains
the word "Attic". Any ideas on how to change cvs behavior so deleted files
are not placed back into the local copy when -D is used?
Thanks in advance
for binaries (not that I've ever team-edited a gif
file), but at least the central repository and versioning remains.
I agree with someone's observation that most projects are no longer pure
text.
