HEllo all,
I noticed that when I delete a file from the working directory to restore it
(i.e. I run cvs update on the entire directory) The file is restored but the
modification date of the file is the current date/time instead the date/time
when it was last commited or the original mod.
I don't think it is possible to create new repositories using pserver. I
think
yoou will need direct access to the CVS server to create it.
I got the same cvs init: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real
password. The problem is you need to login to the pserver before trying any
other
for commit option in .cvsrc :

Hello Kevin,
I'm starting working with cvs both as a user and as and admin. I am facing
the very same requests. I propose you not to share the cvsroot. Instead you
can install viewcvs (http://viewcvs.sourceforge.net) or jcvslet
(http://www.jcvs.org). The second is very easy to set up, I did it
Hi all,
We've started using a CVS pserver on monday in our organization and we are
facing some problems.
We can do checkouts and import but when the time to commit comes problems
arise...
In the beginning I connected as root and got the you cannot commit as root
error... good... I found out
