I had a wincvs version 1.2 and upgraded now to 1.3.20.2 Beta on a Win XP
machine.
Afterwards I wanted to configure some administration stuff and
didn't find admin/preferences/general (only Globals, CVS, Win CVS and
Command Dialogs are there).
What is the problem there? Is there any general
I noticed you couldn't set ssh anymore as your transport there. The
new wincvs has an ssh dll built in I believe. Maybe the old one did
too but I didn't notice because I always used ext and ssh as my
transport instead of the builtin one.

I am checking out a module that contains the template. However, the
template file that is getting copied in the CVS subdirectory for the
module in the local working area is an empty file. The template file in
the directory containing the module is correct. Any help is appreciated.

I use the WinCVS and I want co one file from the repository and revise
that, now we have to co all files in our repository to revise that one

Maybe this is a trivial matter, but here it is:
We develop in WinCVS on the main trunk and say we arrive at ver 1.4 of
file.c.
Then we create a branch, named my_branch, and Team A starts working
on it. As a result of this work, some lines are added, some are modified
and some other are deleted

Looking at the generated application error log, it looks like null values
are being passed to a strcmp() routine, hence the crash. The stack dump is
only partial, though, so I don't really know what's going on.
Even if it's partial, it could help us if you could copy this stack
