Timezone-conflict between client and server

Hi everybody, we have a problem with the timezones. We use cvs 1.10 on a linux machine with CET. The clients run wincvs 1.2b16 with windows having timezone GMT+1 which is equivalent to CET. Does the wincvs client set the time to GMT during contact to the pserver? Or does the pserver treat the
