Okay, now I'm playing with the SNMP reporting. Doing this with
ucd-snmp-4.2.1.pre1 (yeah, I noticed pre2 is out, but if I restart
the snmpd, I have to restart cyrus.) I'm now trying to figure out
some of the graphing.
Under the daily charts for "imap" there are two graphs, "Current"
and "Total"
Don't. LDAP isn't designed for authentication, and isn't particularly good
at it. It's a nice standby if you don't have the time to set up a real
authentication service like kerberos or something else that was designed
for it, but if you're not already there, don't go there.

I try to get cyrus-imapd-2.1.2 running with auth plain and login, but I only
get AUTH=CRAM-MD5 AUTH=DIGEST-MD5 AUTH=OTP.
I started on SuSE 7.3 with sasl:
/configure \
--enable-login \
--enable-plain \
--with-dblib=berkeley \
--with-bdb-libdir=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.0/lib \
--with-bdb-incdi

have a problem:
I start /usr/cyrus/bin/master and I make a netstat with the next answer:

I then added a user with saslpasswd. This user also exists as a system.

supports this but if you want to share a folder amongst users just
