Hi,
maybe you should tell us a bit more about what you did. Looks like you are
using my rpms or derivative work of it. Then the question is what has
changed because usually the rpms 'work out of the box (t

If you can get procmail to do LMTP deliveries, cyrus will accept LMTP
over TCP/IP AFIAK. I'd want to set up some firewall rules etc to
restrict access as much as possible, but it should work.

Ok, I have my previous problem solved. But things still don't want to
cooperate. I run:

Ken,
That was just a momentary oops. Now the same cyradm command generates the
same error as reconstruct:
setaclmailbox: anyone: lrsip: Mailbox has an invalid format
And I still can't find any significant difference (other than the name) for a
folder that reconstructs ok and one that doesn't.

Ah, right, sorry...

But as far as I have seen deliver is only capable of delivering via unix
domain socket. I'd like to have cyrus on a different
box then sendmail / procmail.
Or did I miss something?
Thanx

Hi,
I need to migrate an existing sendmail - procmail - uw-imap/pop3
system to posfix - cyrus.
As an intermediate step I want to stick to sendmail - procmail
but inject the mail from procmail to cyrus via lmtp (TCP/IP)
to cyrus.
Is there any tool out there to do this?
Thanks

Hi,
I get these log messages when I startup cyrus:
Apr 6 10:50:39 mailstore master[31118]: about to exec /usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/imapd
Apr 6 10:50:39 mailstore master[31119]: about to exec /usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/imapd
Apr 6 10:50:39 mailstore master[31120]: about to exec /usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/pop3d
This might be a FAQ, but I didn't find anything about it..
Postfix 2.0.18 + Cyrus imap 2.2.3 and quota set for a user.
When the quota limit is reached, postfix 'queues' the mail
with a 'temporary failure' message instead of returning
it to sender.
I think it is caused by a 4xx return code in cyru

Sorry to followup to my own post, but I have an additional question to
whoever may have the answer. Does Cyrus exclusively lock the deliver

Read the manpages, and configure cyrus deliver to use TCP sockets (cyrus
lmtpd must be told to listen on the TCP socket as well), or change t

There isn't a 2.1.18 at the moment, so you may want to be sure the sources
you have are valid.

Hello,
in our current setup, we're using the email-adress as the login for
POP3-accounts. That's easy to remember for our customers. Is it possible
email-addresses as login with cyrus now? I read some years ago, that
only login's with [a-z0-9]+ are allowed.
