Can Cyrus purge automatically the deleted messages from the mailbox? When a user deletes a mail, then it remains on the server, until client runs the 'remove deleted messages from server' command (Outlook). So, it is possible to make it the cyrus server itself instead of the clients? best

problem with pop3d, messages can be downloaded multiple times

Hi list readers, some of our users have the problem that their messages are beeing downloaded via pop multiple times. Some users even complain that they aren't able to delete the doubles as fast as they get the same ones as new ones again. They are using Outlook or Pegasus Mail. Maybe others

In fact, I do recieve the mail, I just looked in the wrong place (mutt -f /var/mail/account_name) But when i tryed to retrieve mails from thunderbird, i got my mails... Anyway, I still wonder how to get rid off this error message. i've tried to set this : autocreateonpost: 1 but it has no effect

Using cyrus-imapd on linux (fc3) - also using sendmail (not postfix): 1) /etc/sysconfig/saslauthd: MECH=pam 2) /etc/imapd.conf - no auxprocfunc or anything along those lines So, HOW COME I get tons of these in /var/log/messages? (also from lmtpd, pop3, imaps) Dec 6 15:58:49 hedwig
