Hi Alain,
I am running RHEL5; I used prebuilt rpms from RedHat. I did not change
anything recently. Postfix is not running in chroot.

Hi,
I've done some searching on the list about issues with Sieve
performing rejects, redirects, and vacations using the binary
sendmail. Below are some links from cyrus mailing lists.

This is a very simple bug: ipurge is not logging a sync event. The
fix is to add sync_log_mailbox (or something similar) if ipurge makes
a change. I suspect that unexpunge is suffering from a similar
problem, but I haven't actually looked, so it may be more complex.

I would like to write the following sieve rule:
require ["reject"];
reject "The account '${address}' has not been activated.";
Is it possible to use a variable in a string, specifically the email
address?

Thanks for your answer, but I posted my question here because it's related to
how to make that using cyrus: unfortunately I would like to monitor all the
mailboxes (or at least a large subset of them) of my server, so writing a

Thanks for the info. The man page for cyr_dbtool doesn't indicate this
is possible (which is not to say it isn't possible, just undocumented).
cvt_cyrusdb appears to be more of a candidate. Is this what I should be
using, or could you give an example of how to use cyr_dbtool?
Many thanks,

Hi,
I'm trying to use the pt code with AFS from cyrus-imapd 2.3.9 (Simon's RPM)
on Scientific Linux 4.4 (aka Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.4)
with OpenAFS-1.4.4:
configure ... --enable-krb5afspts --with-pts=afskrb --with-afs=/usr
Compiling ends with:
gcc -c -I.. -I./../imap -I./../lib -I/usr/i

hi
I have this rather large sieve list, but this one rule doesn't seem
to work correctly. when I receive email from this list, they all
appear in my INBOX _and_ in the subfolder for the list
the entry is the one below

Hello list
I'm a beginner in cyrus imapd and mailing in general so I am quite
confused.
I'm wandering which is the best method or best practice to have an
external process informed about a message being:
a) delivered into mailbox by MTA (via LMTP), and
b) deleted from mailbox (usual

Hi guys,
I'm currently playing around with cyrus 2.3.9 and replication. It seems quite
stable and in fact, perfectly usable. However, I ran into a problem with
the delayed expunge feature. It looks like this - when I delete a mail (via

I had thought of doing this using the sieve-test utility provided with
cyrus, which lets you specify a message + sieve script and prints to stdout
the actions that would have been performed.
The only issue is on large folders h

hi
after moving to a new server, I keep getting new messages flagged as
read. this happens with all users, and for what I can see, this seems
to happen for all users, but not for messages moved to subfolders by
sieve. This happens if I'm offline when messages arrive.
I'm using Cyrus IMAP4

Bug fixed in 2.3 CVS earlier this week. (the missing (i < count) in

Hi,
I'm seeing this error.
/sync_client[28862]: RESERVE: Unexpected response MessageID

Does anybody have an idea what it is triggered by.
