But the actual domain users send mail to is something like:

Does anyone see any problems with this other than the obvious which is you
can never delivery mail to an Uppercase mailbox?

We've run into this problem on Linux and it was determined glibc was most
likely the problem. John Wade wrote a file locking patch for 2.0.16 that has
worked for us flawlessly for about a year now. Its really saved us from a
situation where we had to restart the Cyrus server every n
flush was
unable to complete
I don't know if this helps at all...

I forgot to mention I am also converting the mailboxes.db file to a flat file.
This should help as well. I am a little hesitant to use skip list right now.

How much is involved in recompiling a current Cyrus production system
that has been using db3 for about a year to a flat file system? Is
there any conversion or reconstruction that needs to take place? Can
you simply re-compile Cyrus, install the exe's and restart the master?

Once in a while, when a user goes to copy a message from their Inbox to
a subfolder, it locks their IMAP session, After closing the mail client
with sasl ldap-enabled logins.
Any suggestions?

I have also noticed some problems with idle connections clearing. I have a RedHat
7.1 box that, out-of-the-box had the system files-max set to 8024. While we only
have about 100 users currently on the system at any given time, last week, the
server croaked with error messages saying that

My next hurdle to overcome is whether to use sendmail or postfix, and which
mailer will require the least hassle to support multiple domains...I will save
this for another time.
