delivered. However imap clients don't see anything,
not even the inbox.
I tried to googling and wiki but did not find any clue.
Anyone else had the same problem?

I do have sieveusehomedir:true in /etc/imapd.conf
and I see X-Sieve: cmu-sieve 1.3 in the mail headers.

'require "vacation"' line do? Does it include
