Can't log into IMAP but pop3 works

Hi All, I have a problem where I can log into cyrus using POP3 but can't with imap. Telnet sessions return the following: sysad...@smbserver:~$ telnet localhost 110 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost.localdomain. Escape character is '^]'. +OK smbserver Cyrus POP3
