perfectly. However I can't kill the master process by sending kill
-TERM. I have to send kill -9 to it.
I have read that one doesn't want to do that...

installed libsnmp5, libsnmp5-dev, libsensors-dev from Debian Sarge
installed snmpd from Debian Sarge
I've compiled my cyrus with:
./configure \
--with-cyrus-prefix
In your snmpd.conf you must have
master agentx
and then start master with something like
/usr/cyrus/bin/master -P 120 -x /var/agentx/master
and it should work, and offcourse start snmpd 2.

you use? Have you built and configured
net-snmpd to support agentx? Double check and make sure cyrus has snmp
support compiled in.

daemons in imap/ ?
Cyrus master exports snmp statistics just fine though the AgentX interface,
but the other daemons seem to have not been ported to agentX yet (or tugowar
