Hello, The Dico team is pleased to announce the release of GNU dico 2.0.
GNU dico is a flexible dictionary server with a set of accompanying utilities. It supports a wide variety of dictionary database formats, ranging from the traditional `dict.org' databases up to Wikipedia format. Support for arbitrary new formats can be easily added using loadable modules. The dico library provides an API for writing new modules in C, Guile or Python. The package also includes a console client program for querying remote dictionary servers and a Web interface client. A running instance of the latter can be tried at http://dicoweb.gnu.org.ua. For more information about the project, visit http://www.gnu.org/software/dico. Here are the compressed sources: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/dico/dico-2.0.tar.gz (1.7MB) Here are the GPG detached signatures[*]: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/dico/dico-2.0.tar.gz.sig You can use the signature files to verify that the corresponding file (without the .sig suffix) is intact. First, be sure to download both the .sig file and the corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this: gpg --verify dico-2.0.tar.gz.sig If that command fails because you don't have the required public key, then run this command to import it: gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys 55D0C732 and rerun the `gpg --verify' command. This release was bootstrapped with the following tools: Autoconf 2.61 Automake 1.10.1 Libtool 2.2.5a Gnulib-tool 0.0.2001-6c41 Regards, Sergey _______________________________________________ GNU Announcement mailing list <info-gnu@gnu.org> http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-gnu
