OK, thanks - that seems to work as long as I don't synchronise permissions (work PC has different user name to the home one...) The GnusSync stuff was interesting too, but probably more useful if I had a connection between the two machines that I could sync with. Sadly not! Cheers Paul

Hi! I'd like to setup gnus-notify to be notified when there is new mail which is retrieved via getmail (from cron job) and delivered to dovecot running on localhost to be accessed by Gnus via IMAP. I have tried with both gnus-notify.el and gnus-notify+.el
