Will there be some change in the name or API for this service?
Will it be possible to do user registration and group creation remotely
through CAIAPI?

No this will remain as it is, ipsilon is running there and there is no plan on
I was reseraching a little bit and I found that this project is made in
python with Django. Is it possible that we can take this project and do an
implementation of our own?
The current implementation [1] is:
- Debian
- Postgres
- Django
- Python stack
