We have been thinking of doing a hackfest prior to or after LGM, however to do so we'd need to have a venue to meet at, ideally someplace in Saarbruecken (or possibly even the same place[1] as the LGM conf).
Does anyone have a place to propose? If so, we can try and nail things down at the next board meeting. We'll need a volunteer to get in contact with the venue and make the arrangements. If we don't have a separate Hackfest venue identified by the board meeting, what we'll do instead is still sponsor attendance at LGM, but won't have a separate hackfest. Attendees can arrange to meet ad hoc for discussions as fits their schedules during the conference as they wish.
