Hi Brynn, I see what you mean - I found it suboptimal, too, but also I'm usually just doing Ctrl+F on the page to find what I need (and F3 to jump to the next occurance), so it didn't bother me enough to ask for a change ;) You could make this a wishlist bug report in inkscape-docs
