Hi Cristi, yes, that's correct.
From the SVG specs: "The horiz-origin-y attribute indicates the y-coordinate in the font coordinate system of the origin of a glyph to be used when drawing horizontally oriented text." The origin is described on the vertical axis (y), but it's for horizontally written text ... (yes, it's a bad name ...)
