we've got some interesting news about a library that has long been part
of Inkscape, and has now been made available for everyone to use in
their open source projects:

One small caveat:
If you insert a link (and don't just edit one), you may need to fix it
in source mode.
1. Open source mode
2. look for links
3. remove http or https, whichever is wrong (both are inserted for some
reason)
