I did a live upgrade today from build 99 to build 101. It appeared to be
successful
except that the graphical login screen didn't appear. I tried both the gdm and
CDE
login managers, with the same result. On a reboot, I saw these in the messages
log:

I too had nvidia issues, I found I needed newer nvidia drivers from the
nvida site...

Hmm, im using an ASUS M2NPV-VM too, but without an
add-on PCI-E video card. I'm using the integrated video.
And Sun's version of the nvidia 177.80 driver.
