Hi Daniel, just a short notice that I tried the same patch - namely adjusting the minimum watermark value (thus the maximual watermark setting) now on the i830 based Fujitsu, and it does work here as well as it did on the R31. Thus, this seems to be the real culprit. This is the laptop with
