Ken, You've now had YEARS to put a few simple parts together to do some tests for yourself.
Your basic desulphator is not the same. Here's the road less taken: Build a model from a bike wheel, take a nice digital pic of it, then join the Bedini monopole yahoo group and follow the program. The moderator does a nice job of keeping the subject-matter on track and moving forward. Use new batteries, not sulphated scrap. Do some load tests. See whatever you see, for yourself. Spend a few minutes each day without chanting your usual mantra, "can't do it, can't do it, can't do it...." What I SAY about what it can or can't do doesn't really matter much. I could sit here and tell you truths or lies about any number of things and you'd never know either way. I know this because you've always been much happier offering device critiques from your armchair, not your workbench. I don't know of any magical cures for procrastination or for a lack of inquisitive nature. I wish I did, really. I realize that it's a lot more fun to have useless coffee-clutch conversation without ever doing any hands-on work to either prove something wrong or prove it to be real. Do as you will with what you got. Happy Thanksgiving. R
