Hi,
Frank, let me make sure I understand you right,
So, it's more important to see the Probe Type, SysName, SysLocation,
SysContact and Round-trip time than it is to see the reason why IM
reports an error state on the device?
One of my points is, that IM already put the other dynamic info
Hi Dartware:
It would be Very nice if it was possible to make the Interfaces
Window have a default sort, that the user can control.
Either via a preference (in the client?) or simply that the client
(IMRA) simply remembers what was last used.

Folks:
A new beta-test version of InterMapper 4.5b2 is available. This is still TEST
software. You can find the full list of new features listed at this page:

This version is substantially feature complete. There were no new features since

In the Windows version (any others?), there is a somewhat similar
option in Console for Windows System Tray pop-up
In a quick survey of my maps, I'm mainly seeing the hidden reason
problem on devices with a custom SNMP probe that have a large number of
recent outages.

Ok, seems this behavior may be limited to one probe: Host
Resources (i use this probe a lot, so I see it a lot)
Also, the window obscures the last few lines of information whether
there's currently a Reason or not.
Will test some more to see if there are similar issues with other
