Well, I'm one of those Linux and Windows users (since I have not been able
to acquire a mac yet), so maybe you guys are talking about something else,
but I can't stand files (installers/packages) that DON'T have the version
number in the filename. Once the program is installed, then sure it

I'd prefer that the version number remain part of the file name.
