*Title: **Java/C++ Developer* *Location: **Roseland, NJ (Candidates must be local)* *Contract: **5 months* *Face to face interview required* *Required Skills: **C,C++,Java* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Competent in all phases of the development project life cycle. · Acts as an expert source of technical or functional information. · Serves as technology expert across project boundaries. · Works independently to manage current and new technologies, perform strategic upgrades, and make recommendations to technical management. · Able to research, recommend, introduce new complex technologies consistent with mission of business unit. · Define, document implement technology standards. · Acts as consultant in providing direction for assigned Applications. DUTIES: Working as part of the team to develop high volume Internet application software · Designs and develops applications in accordance with specifications. Adheres to engineering standards, UI design standards and templates, various development methodologies – either Agile or Waterfall - as chosen by the enterprise Architect · Documents design of applications to assist in training and maintenance Delivers code under demanding deadlines throughout the project lifecycle Performs unit and systems testing of applications/solutions. Resolves all defects/issues reported. Troubleshoots and supports solutions on an ongoing basis Working closely within the guidelines and practices established by ADP’s security team ARB to ensure the proper implementation and business practices. Meet all committed deliverable deadlines throughout project lifecycle Utilizes an efficient, clear, and concise communication style to regularly communicate ongoing status, milestones, project risks and successes with team leaders and managers as well as others within the development team Work with teammates to expand personal technical expertise and pursue cross-training opportunities Maintain technical skills and enhance skillset thru periodic training and research. QUALIFICATIONS: · Strong communication skills. · Experience coding in C/C++ and Java is required · 5+ years hands on experience developing server side applications using Java, C/C++ and XML technology. · Strong experience in script technologies: Korn Shell, Power Shell, Tcl · Experience with programming for IBM MQ is a definite plus. · Working knowledge of either Eclipse IDE or NetBeans is preferable. · Understands the core of multi-threaded application development and experience in programming multi-threaded applications in Java and C/C++ · Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat) is necessary. · Hands-on technical expertise in IBM AIX, Linux OS, Windows, XML/XSLT, HTML, CVS, VSS and ANT is required. · Requires a thorough understanding of software development life cycle processes and methodologies. · Experience with Oracle DB (preferably Oracle 11g) , JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL and stored procedures are a must · Understanding of basic security approaches (e.g. firewalls, ssh, data encryption and compression) across multiple sites is a big plus · Knowledge of Network/IP configuration domain definition expertise would be helpful · Exposure to developing web based tools to configure sites/users/applications is a big plus · Familiarity with high speed Xerox and IBM printers and print streams is a definite plus. · Exposure to integration of internal corporate and vendor supplied application software · Knowledge of web based self-service, HR, payroll, and benefit applications is a plus *Please respond with only your W2 consultant's Updated resume, location, rate and contact information ASAP..* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
