*Role:- DWH-BIDW Consultant * *Duration:-12+Months* *Location:-Baltimore, MD* *Requisition Details:* Data Governance Lead Consultant Required Skill set and experience:10+ years of experience with hands on experience on various aspects of Information Management that includes helping customers set up an effective Information Governance initiative (Defining data governance organization, roles responsibilities, data policies, data standards, data governance processes, ownership/Stewardship programs, Best Practices etc.).Must have prior experience in defining and running data governance - either in context of BI or MDM Must have demonstrable experience in building data strategy and architectures for complex business needs Must have excellent customer interfacing and communication skills. At least 1 prior role with experience in managing clients Exposure to organizational change management and stakeholder management is highly desirable Implementation experience on MDM and/or Understanding of Master Data Management architectures, business processes and data integration methodologies is highly desirable Knowledge and experience in data quality tools is desirable Exposure to enterprise architectures and specifically data architectures is an added advantage. Responsibilities Should be able to lead and help customer in defining and establishing data governance organization and in creation of related data governance artifacts (data policies/practices, DG/DM processes, data standards, DG org structure with roles & responsibilities, DQ/DG metrics, etc.)Should be able to tie and also map the following to the business processes - compliance & monitoring, policies and standards, data inventories, full information lifecycle management, data quality, data classifications, data security and access, data risk management. Should serve as a liaison between both internal and external IT and business groups, should bring positive results via their governance of methods used by data stewards handling data.
