and troubleshooting server, network, and desktop related issues and the
administration, management, and support of various applications. Timely
responses must be given in diagnosing and resolving issues.
•             This position requires extensive knowledge of Windows Server
and thorough knowledge of server virtualization.
•             The incumbent will be responsible for installing, upgrading,
and maintaining multiple Windows servers.
•             The individual will also share the overall administration of
350+ Windows servers and will provide technical consulting and support to
project teams, business users, and vendors. Job duties are performed
independently with minimal supervision.

*Required Education:*
A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field involving software,
hardware or networking


*Required Skills:The ideal candidate will have:*
•             8+ years of professional experience, including *5+ years of
server administration*
•             Expert knowledge with Microsoft Server operating systems,
including patching and upgrading
•             Expert knowledge of PowerShell and scripting
•             Expert knowledge of Group Policy management
*•             Thorough knowledge of VM/Ware ESX, including performing P2V
migrations*
•             Thorough knowledge of Citrix XenApp, including patching and
upgrading
•             Thorough knowledge of Exchange, including patching and
upgrading
•             Dedication to documenting processes and procedures
•             Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
•             Ability to work with users at all levels
•             Strong customer service skills
•             Initiative and ability to work both independently and in a
team environment
•             Capacity to recognize appropriate escalation time lines
•             Ability to work well under pressure
•             Ability to keep team members and supervisor informed of
activities
•             Sound judgment and decision-making skills to support the
constantly changing server environment

Experience must include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of
Windows Server operating systems and associated software. The individual is
responsible for the effective provisioning, availability, and overall
health of Windows systems, which includes servers, storage, software, and
other related infrastructure items. This job requires normal physical
stamina, works primarily in corporate office, and occasionally in field
locations. The job will require occasional odd and extended work hours for
problem solving, application testing, and software and hardware
implementations.
•             Expertise in core Windows Server 2012 functionality (Active
Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, GC, SMTP, RDP, IIS, FTP/SFTP)
•             Expert knowledge of networking - TCP/IP and LANs/WANs,
including connectivity to branch offices and remote servers
•             Expert knowledge of PowerShell, scripting, and Group Policy
management
•             General knowledge Citrix XenApp - installing, configuring,
and maintaining (experience with a migration or upgrade would be a plus)
•             General knowledge Exchange 2013 - installing, configuring,
and maintaining (experience with a migration or upgrade would be a plus)
•             General knowledge of VM/ware - installing, configuring, and
maintaining (experience with a migration or upgrade would be a plus)
•             General knowledge of shared storage – SAN’s, fiber switches,
and zoning

*Desired Skills:*
Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, CCA, VCAP, etc.) are desired.
- experience with BES, Lync, RightFax, SharePoint
- experience with Endpoint Security, Sophos, MBSA
- experience with DFS, NetBackup, replication methodology
- experience with SCCM, SCOM, WSUS, SolarWinds
- familiarity with MS Clustering, IBM and HP servers, IBM storage
- participation in developing disaster recovery procedures and D/R testing.
