Business Analysts are highly engaged with Business Architecture and
requirements activities and can be subject matter experts in a variety of
areas (e.g. line of business, requirements process, business process,
etc.).  Business Analysts work closely with the architects to create future
a state architecture and ensure the vision is achieved within execution
efforts. They act as a liaison between business and systems partners to
provide direction from an enterprise perspective.  Most projects will need
one or more business analysts on their teams depending on the volume of
work. The responsibilities listed  below are expectations of a business
analyst.
Responsibilities:

o        Participate in strategic and planning architecture as a subject
matter expert on behalf of their specific area.  May be asked to assist in
the  development of deliverables as needed.

o       Adhere to the standards set forth in the enterprise architecture
playbook, program playbook, and process owner guidance for the production
of Business

          Document & support architecture and requirements artifacts.

o       Have a detailed understanding of strategic architecture and
roadmaps.

o       Assist in development of business decision documents as needed by
collaborating with development centers, business partners, systems partners
and  core teams.

o       Collaborate with work initiation teams to develop documentation
such as business case proposals, business case templates, and
project  charters.

o       Serve as a liaison between systems and business partners from other
departments for business related issues.

o       Works with product owners and business partners from various
departments to build collaboration and make decisions needed during
planning and execution.

o       Participate in business architecture reviews and ensure appropriate
business and system partners are represented.

o       Obtains, demonstrates understanding, and communicates company and
industry knowledge and direction.

o       Stakeholder to scope changes, risks and issues

1) Technical skill: expertise in specific areas, such as market research,
customer analytics, agent environment and workflow knowledge
2) Problem-solving skill: ability to analyze difficult situations and craft
solutions that others may not see, with little supervision or direction

4) Organizational skill: understanding the company's political and
logistical landscape, and forming networks of contacts throughout the
organization
5) Developmental skill: the ability to master new skills as needed
6) Communication skill: the ability to effectively and efficiently exchange
information and listen to others

Specific Project team Needs

 ·       Document sale associate requirements

·       Address requirement questions from the Team

·       Review test cases/results to meet business expectations

·       Prepare business scenarios for testing

·       Prepare presentation messages for AR customers using sales
associate data

·       Knowledge of the Insurance industry in general would be a benefit
