*Role : Business Analyst - ERP - IT Training Specialist - 35495*

*Work Location: Houston, TX*

*Duration : 6-9 Months*



Training Specialist/Track Lead

Manage training process for various SAP project implementations, including
creation of training material and coordination of all training logistics.



·        Resource will be able to plan, organize, and direct a wide range
of training activities

·        Trainers conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job
training for new employees

·        They help rank-and-file workers maintain and improve their job
skills, and possibly prepare for jobs requiring greater skill

·        They help supervisors improve their interpersonal skills in order
to deal effectively with employees

·        They set up individualized training plans to strengthen an
employee's existing skills or teach new ones

·        Planning and program development is an important part of the
training specialist's job; In order to identify and assess training needs
within the firm/ project, trainers may confer with managers and supervisors
or conduct surveys; They also periodically evaluate training effectiveness

·        Training methods include on-the-job training; schools in which
shop conditions are duplicated for trainees prior to putting them on the
shop floor; apprentice ship training; classroom training; and electronic
learning, which may involve interactive Internet-based training, multimedia
programs, distance learning, satellite training, videos and other
computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and
workshops.

·        Carrying out training needs analyses

·        Designing course materials and other documents, such as handouts,
manuals and exercises

·        Organizing and marketing courses to meet the needs of learners and
demands of business

·        Preparing the learning environment and resources

·        Delivering training programs to clients either in a group
classroom setting, or online through an e-learning or Virtual Learning
Environment (VLE), or on a one-to-one basis

·        Supporting and coaching learners using VLE or self-learning
packages

·        Evaluating the effectiveness of the training and course outcomes

·        Liaising with external course providers, employers, clients,
examining bodies and software companies, etc.

·        Taking responsibility for maintenance of hardware and software
used for training purposes and recommending repairs and upgrades to
management where appropriate

·        Keeping up to date with relevant systems, software and online
training technology

·        Dealing with administrative records

·        Implement configuration updates or changes via change management
process

·        Responsible for following Exxon Mobil methodology including
documentation and stewardship

·        University degree

·        Speak, read and write English fluently

·        Excellent communication skills, including presentation to senior
management

·        Ability to learn and document business processes as required

·        Excellent problem solving skills

·        Strong interpersonal and team working skills; Ability to work in a
multicultural environment

·        Ability to work remotely from other team members, internal service
providers and customers

·        Ability to learn and apply Exxon Mobil control standards to these
processes Windows environment:

·        Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook.

·        Various SAP modules (FI, PM, etc.)

·        Remedy, Visio and MS Project will be a plus.

·        Oil Business will be a plus
