Role : Project Manager Location: Remote/Traveling
Duration: 6 months + *Project Manager* *Job requires 80-100% travel- when not traveling this role will work remote. Client will cover cost of the work travel (but will not cover interview travel expenses).* *Some travel will be international so individuals must be able to obtain a passport and travel internationally as needed.* *MUST HAVE:* · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area · Excellent verbal and written communications · *5-7+ years overall experience in Project Management* with IT implementations, with specific emphasis in: o Agile Software Development o Vendor Management o Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ITIL) governance o Technology planning o Total Cost of ownership and proven ability to drive change, build consensus, and satisfactorily resolve conflicts · *Background in Infrastructure or application development * · Experience in an environment of diverse, but related systems, platforms, and applications · Experience working in a Fortune 500 company IT team · Proven experience in IT implementing and supporting mixed, complex environments and solutions · A firm level of proficiency and technical understanding of applications and systems lifecycle · Solid organization, presentation and documentation abilities, including Visio diagrams and “as-built” documentation · An understanding of project management methodologies and tools accompanied with creativity and innovative thinking to find solutions to complex problems that can balance short and long-term objectives · Understanding of change management, process improvement and organizational analysis · Successful in creating a compelling, credible business case for information technology initiatives · Proven experience in project leadership, communications at different levels, conflict resolution, planning, organization and management · Global perspective.
