*Role: Product Design Engineer- CATIA V5 CADTools* *Location: Raymond, OH* *Client: Wipro* We are looking for experienced professionals for Automotive BIW & Exterior Designer/Engineer positions. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in product design and release. A Bachelors degree in either Mechanical Engineering related discipline is preferred. You will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release of a Body-in-White system and Exterior components. Previous design experience with body-in-white (BIW), underbody, closure, exterior trim, sheet metal, exterior lighting, door, deck lid, hood, fascia, grill, bumper, headlight/headlamp, glass, windshield, wiper, window regulator, liftgate, tailgate, ornamentation, sunroof and/or sealing components is necessary. Design Engineer with over 5 years of engineering experience in actual creation of required components per speciality (concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability). Conducts design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned products and systems. Analyzes components/parts in area of speciality to ensure that established layout/quality/cost/performance standards and regulartory requirements are met or exceeded and recommends cost-effective design modifications/improvements that support testing and mass production. Job Requirements: 5 years of experience in product design engineering for any automotive components in BIW & Exteriors Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of CATIA V5 EXPERIENCE (surfacing).Capable of creating designs, engineering changes & layouts utilizing in Catia V5Ability to create and use GD&T, DFMEAS.Responsible for section development and design proposals.Develop B-side attaching scheme development from A-surface. Maintain bill of material (BOM) management (engineering change control documentation).
