*Contract Position* *Position: * Developer/Devops *Position Type:* Contract *Location: *PHILADELPHIA, PA *Responsibilities:* A minimum of 3-5 years technical experience. 3 years experience in a business process-based development environment using agile methods and open source tools preferred. Role Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Solid understanding of *PHP Development*. Understand and implement best practices. - Solid understanding of *Relational Database technology*, in particular *MySQL* and/or *PostgreSQL*. - Experience with Python is a plus - Fluent in testing software at all levels, unit, system, and integration. - Comfortable with *cloud development *and deployment, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with EC2, EBS, S3, and SQS a plus. - Strong knowledge of version control software, git preferred. *Physical Requirements * - Must be willing to travel when needed. - Willingness and ability to attend meetings and respond to application problems at various corporate sites when necessary. *Working Condition*s - Team work environment in cube or open work area. - Duties are performed during standard business hours and overtime based on project requirements. - Willingness to work overtime hours as necessary, especially during critical issue resolution and to achieve project milestones.
