Preferred experience: Experience using javascript with Protractor to automate testing of AngularJs web applications. Experience using javascript to automate testing of web services Hands-on Cucumber for javascript experience POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for leading the end to end quality of projects within the Web and Mobile Application Portfolio. This person will create test plans for both manual and automated test frameworks to optimize testing of complex web and mobile applications. The Senior Test Engineer is expected to deliver creative and innovative solutions to support the development team through planning and prioritization of test design, test development, and test automation activities. This work will be accomplished within an Agile/Scrum methodology in support of a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with frequent application releases. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop, implement, and automate test plans and test cases in an Agile environment • Build, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks for end to end integration testing across applications, devices, and platforms using Javascript • Build automation and test coverage tools using Javascript to enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery • Be accountable for all aspects of quality within the software development team • Track and prioritize defects throughout product releases and lifecycles • Design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable test automation scripts using Javascript • Use quality control tools and metrics to discover defects and make recommendations for resolution • Work with Scrum team to plan, estimate, schedule and execute testing for applications including: o Establishing, organizing and executing testing deliverables o Documenting and executing complex software test plans and strategies o Ensuring traceability of test cases back to project requirements o Executing end to end test scenarios o Coordinating and supporting user-acceptance test plans o Working with Scrum team to report and resolve complex issues • Ensure software applications meet functional requirements. • Participate in all aspects of testing at all levels, including functional, system, regression and load testing. • Record and report on testing metrics • Follow test documentation standards and makes updates as necessary EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • 5+ years of software test experience with focus on web and mobile applications and test automation • Advanced understanding of open source web frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, & Express • Strong expertise in JavaScript • Advanced understanding of web application testing tools such as Selenium, Jasmine, & Protractor • Experience testing applications that integrate with other systems through RESTful API’s • JavaScript API testing frameworks such as Frisby or Cucumber • Experience in Agile using tools such as Rally or Jira • Software automation testing methodologies including regression, functional, unit, integration, coverage, performance, and load • Knowledge of Cloud platforms and services such as Amazon and Heroku Warm Regards, *Seema Singh* *West Coast Consulting, LLC* *Work – 949 743 0065 Ext - 206 * *Direct : 949 783 6046* *Fax – 714 844 9091* *Email - **se...@westcoastllc.com* <se...@westcoastllc.com> *Los Angeles • *New York • Washington DC • New Delhi -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
