development and delivery of ship to shore communications and data
transport to achieve and sustain world class Shipboard Communications
and services for the Carnival Corporation fleet. This position will
be a part of the team who will be responsible for the development of
ship to shore communication transport services for the fleet. This
will include Satellite services, WiMax, WiFi, LTE or others as may be
defined to achieve optimal results.

The Senior Engineer Telecommunications Engineering is responsible for
the design, validation and integration of effective and reliable
ship-to-shore satellite and wireless communication systems and for the
collection and summarization of network statistics for the assigned
Carnival Corporation brands and vessels.

The incumbent will support Satellite Communication Analysts on the
collection of hard data and act as technical advisor for the
evaluation of enhancing alternatives that will allow Carnival
Corporation´s brands to enjoy an optimal level of service across the
global satellite, telecommunications, and wireless WAN network. You
will also be expected to be available to support fellow GIS team
members on the resolution of network performance issues that require
in-depth analysis of traffic statistics and equipment configuration
parameters. You are expected to be well grounded in the technical
aspects of satellite and telecommunications networks including an
understanding of satellite RF and IP networks and to remain at the
forefront of industry´s technical trends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (List and describe current major on-going
