*Duration:* 12 months
*iSeries RPG/ILE Development in Order Management systems. Exciting project
development in Business Critical systems to enable company Integration. *
*Responsibilities:*
· Requires gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding,
testing and documentation of various business applications in a Retail
Order Management environment.
· Working with Business Critical applications that interface with
other applications, and platforms.
· Takes a prominent role in working with the business users,
project managers, and others within the IT organization to ensure all
aspects of the tasks and/or projects are completed based on business and
functional requirements.
· Must be innovative and creative in solving complex problems,
leading project teams and work in an environment where requirements may
continually evolve, while still adhering to IT standards.
· Will analyze requirements, functional design, and architectural
design documents to determine coding needed within Order Management area
Develop technical project documentation including, flowcharts, diagrams,
and Technical Design documents
· Design and build innovative robust solutions to Business
requirements
· Ability to look at problems and requirements holistically in a
complex landscape
· Develop / modify functionality within an established application
framework
· Develop unit test plans and conduct unit test as per test plans
· Provide estimates for completion of Developer Technical Design
Documents
· Manages work and assists team members to meet specified due dates
for tasks and projects to deliver on time and on budget
· Proactive in providing status updates on tasks and projects to
team members
· Accountable for relationships with internal business customers,
peers, management team
· Agile and flexible to accommodate changes in business, working in
a collaborative environment
*Required Qualifications:*
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training or
equivalent combination of education and experience
· 10+ years Development experience on the iSeries platform
· 4+ years of team leadership
· RPG-ILE and RPG-FREE
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Experience in an Order Management / Retail environment
· Experience with User spaces, MQ, SQL
· Experience with Turnover, Robot, Hawkeye
· Experience working within an Agile / Scrum environment
