8+ years in Information Technology .
Java 1.7 experience – (1.8 preferred)
1+ year(s) of actual work experience in a high-stress/demand sweat shop
Must have *Spring Boot*/Spring Cloud exp
Unit and integration tests
TDD experience nice-to-have. Either way, I’ll be pairing with whoever it is
– so they’ll get practical on the job experience even if they have it
already
Must know how to right a Unit test – and explain what a unit test is
Must be able to explain why/when Integration tests are implemented
Grasps of object oriented design principles
Understands and can explain basic OOD principles and patterns
Basic Design patterns – describe types – ie: behavior
Explain SOLID principles
Qualification:
BS Computer Science, BS IS, BS IT, … even BS Math or Physics
Spring / MVC / Boot
Speaks and writes fluently in English
