*Position Description:*

The Database Designer is responsible for understanding the business needs
and IT’s capabilities to ensure that enhancements to data models and ETL
logic meet the needs of the both. They are engaged in defining and
implementing all proposed system changes and enhancements to Oracle
operational and/or data warehouse instances. This Database Designer is
responsible for translating business/technical analyst data requirements
into detailed data specifications including source, logical and target
mappings. They identify data gaps, profile source and target data, create
transformation logic for logical and physical models which drives the
modeling and development cycle. They are also accountable for being the
subject matter expert on all assigned data domains.

*Must haves:*

Strong PL/SQL and Oracle database experience

Strong ETL development experience (with Informatica as a tool)

Experience with Cognos or a similar reporting tool

6+ years’ of overall professional experience

*Nice to haves:*

Experience working within a Waterfall methodology

Experience working within a Healthcare environment

Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional
and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those
responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.
Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and
documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications.
Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products.  May
include experience in logical data model development

5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies)
2-3 years experience in domain
Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their
development into a final product.
Leads multiple work-streams in delivering solutions
Works independently
Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.)
ETL experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.)
Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team

ETL Talend Developer will:
• Perform ETL design and development of a complex nature.

documents for data integration.

extensive knowledge in creating and deploying end to end Talend Data
Integration solution together with good problem solving capability
• 5+ years of Strong PL/SQL knowledge (Joins/Cursors/Triggers)
• 5+ years of strong database experience (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server)
• 3+ years of strong knowledge on Data Warehousing concepts.
• 3+ years of experience in schema designing (Star, snowflake)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written,
are mandatory.
• Expectation is the candidate will have the ability to work well in a
team, collaborating with developers, customers, project managers and
business analysts.
*Preferred Skills:*
• 3+ years of strong Reporting knowledge (Additional experiences on
Tableau/Cognos/SSRS/Business Objects preferred)
• Added advantage with DBA Experience
• Good working knowledge of Java/J2EE related technologies
• Good Domain knowledge on Financial Services Industry
