Dear colleagues,

Skye Bender-deMoll's report to the AAAS Science and Human Rights Program on
network analysis and mapping has just been released. The goal was to give a
non-academic introduction to network concepts and related fields, survey
some relevant academic and humanitarian projects, and make some proposals
for future projectsw in this area. The full title is "Potential Human
Rights Uses of Network Analysis and Mapping: A report to the Science and
Human Rights Program of the American Association for the Advancement of
Science". This is available on-line at
http://shr.aaas.org/networkmapping/Net_Mapping_Report.pdf. The report also
includes a number of very visual examples of how to portray networks and
network maps.

A wider list of papers, reports and websites related to the building and
analysis of social networks can be found on the Learning for Sustainability
site at http://learningforsustainability.net/social_learning/networks.php

best regards
Will
