I am looking to have some network test boxes to push 10Gb. I have 10G SFP+ PCI E cards and modules, Switches that have SFP+ and modules. What I am wanting to know is if there is specific specs of Computer HW I should use with the PCI E 10Gb Cards?
Vivian noted the harddrive and processor weren't much of a concern, but the PCI-E bus speed would be my bottleneck. PCIE V2.0, seems that 4x, 8x, and 16x would all be sufficient. Does anyone have any experience to point me at some adequate hardware? Thanks Chris
