So I just tried out the ipmitool CVS code (version 1.8.9) and the "sol"
support seems to be reliable now. Thanks for the heads up. I'd
recommend to update the Changelog file to roll up what changes have been
made so far between 1.8.8 and now.

1.8.8 at least in the changelog. Is the changelog file NOT the best way
to see if anything has been changed?
