I really thought we agreed to stop outright saying a station is cheating
that isn't fair, and can actually be considered slander/libel.
Just because the signal is a bit better then you'd think, doesnt mean the
are necessarily cheating.WJLG is near the water, so that helps.

Patrick,
I'm about 95% sure you're right about it being KPTO. Just got back
from vacation yesterday so couldn't check earlier, but this morning (now
6:15 am MDT) the unID is running about even with Wetaskawin on 1440, on
top at times, and under at others. The music is primarily classical,

520 Thank you's, to all for such a positive response to my post!
I've been lurking in the background for several months now just
absorbing as much info as possible (to be honest, at first I didn't know
what half of the stuff you folks talked about, but I'm learning).
I checked 1670 again off the Eastern beverage, the carrier is stronger
and there are traces of audio, but just slight traces. So there is hope.
A bit later this afternoon or early this evening before Redding shows up
I'll try again.

Charles, lol !
Joe said, I figured that if you can't hear a
broadcast signal on a semi-regular basis, that's DX.
That's my philosophy.

Les,
All I can say is many thanks for your work. It's been deeply appreciated.

The same from me as well, Les. You helped me add quite a few stations to my
otherwise-stagnant SoCal totals. You'll be missed. 73, Tim Hall

Thanks Mark and also Harry, who responded. I'm just getting active again
after too long a layoff. I worked a lot of 6 and 2 SSB in the late 70's-
early 80's. Regards, Chris K4NHL S.C.

P:at,
1670 WQDG929 Camas is weak this afternoon around 3:00 P.M.. The fence antenna
was the only antenna that could bring in any audio. The R 8B with the syn on
produced better audio than the JRC -545. Man reading the information, if you
need any help with the audio let me know.
Today I received two QSLs in one emvelope from ODOT.

Dennis,
So far I only have had traces of audio, but it did sound male, so that
is probably it. I will try a bit later. I will let you know. Thanks.
