Lots of Japanese stations in this morning. Started noticing them after
0700 UTC, with JOHR 1287 S9+. Noted a JJ commercial station on 1269 at
1009 UTC but not // 1287 JOHR, but too weak to ID. Likely JOJR Tokuskima
I presume. Second JJ or CC underneath. JOQR-1134 quite nice at also S9
but more
No such luck here Patrick. I have weak but steady carrier on 738 and a
very weak carrier on 747. Nothing on 774

Would you like a low powered UK station on 1152 or Azores on 693?

I've been working on setting up the SDR-14 so it can be accessed remotely.
Right now it's set up in New Bedford at the WNBH-1340 transmitter site.
Just a simple antenna for the moment, a ferrite loop on a tripod sitting on
the workbench. It's turned to null the tower (15m/50' away). There's also

Yes, and maybe later than that... I recall WHLN being a regular catch from

Patrick and Others,
I also noticed the great conditions to Japan at about 1000 UTC, and was
able to record good Japanese audio from JOQR-1134 (new here), plus the
regular TP powerhouses on 594, 747, 774, 963 etc. There was a very strong
carrier
on 1053 without much audio (apparently
Craig - The experiments sound encouraging if you can work out the kinks.
I think that if I had the receiver at a site that is obviously juiced
towards one DX target or another (Latin America in the case of your
south-facing shore site at WNBH), I'd do some RF recordings that could
be offloaded
Right you are - thanks for keeping us on track J.D. If anyone is ever in
doubt, check the dxtests.info website. Brandon does a great job of keeping
it current.

After the tree fell on my beverage, this afternoon, I went out and sawed

Just a weak het here on the west coast. This is not last week!.Walt.
Good Evening,
Had the radio gear all packed in the car for the trip to Grayland. Gave the
motel a call and found out that they are closed until Monday. Told my wife and
she said Lets go anyway. When we got to Grayland we tried another motel and
cottage place, but the sign on the door said

I was driving between Manteca CA and Fremont CA tonight and had a carrier on

the first carrier I ever heard at that time of night. Who would be
receivable at 0300 GMT in northern California?

There was more activity on the upper band this morning, and
certainly stuff worth digging for everywhere, but most of it involved
hard work.
Listened from 1445 to 1510UT, with a little bit afterwards which,
along with the propagation monitor, makes me think I missed some of
the peak signals
Dennis,
Is it blowing up there? Here we are getting gusts to 50-60 MPH at times.
