Nice photos, Bob, I wonder how upset my neighbors would be if I put one of
those up in the back yard, hi, hi. I would have to scan it, but I have a
picture of the Deutsche Telekom antenna farm at Jülich and that is quite
impressive as well.

With the last license renewal, the change to night pattern in June changed
from 8:30pm to 8:15pm EDT. The 8:30pm time was consistent across all my
local clients. Has anyone else noticed a change in night pattern switch

Hi Bill,
The beverage non terminated does have a different pattern on some
frequencies and the splatter is worse from the two Astoria statons,
especially KAST; so I don't know if I will leave it non terminated or
not. Some frequencies seem quietier, with the daytime noise level lower
for some
Craig,
My trusty sunset map for June shows 8:15 pm for SE Mass and Southern RI, 8:30
for the rest of MA and Northern RI.The dividing line between 8:15 and 8:30
looks like it goes right through Pawtucket. I think WDDZ lawyers are right -
the FCC is correcting previous errors.
Marc
Pat,
Now that your beverage is not terminated, how well
would reception be towards the West? The bogs I
have setup at Grayland are not terminated and pickup
Southeast ok. Was surprised on my last visit to hear
the Texan station on 1700 with a nice signal.
Since your beverage is elevated

Dennis,
With a beverage I have found, the lower to the ground the better for
directivity. I don't like having to elevate it, but I don't have a
choice, but the beverage does have more gain having it elevated. I have
not checkd out the directivity to the West as yet. I will leave it
unterminated
Fairly similar to yesterday; listened from 1315 to 1330UT, and continue to note
the quick fading up and down of signals, in this case, mostly the Japanese and
Korean powerhouses, though 1314 kHz had a quick fade up at one point also.
Apparently, there was a peak on 612 earlier than this that
