For those who worried that you might have missed some DX this morning, worry no
longer... there was a hint of China on 639, but that was a surprise, when 828
and 774 were hints also! Couple of listening attempts at 1450 and at 1510UT,
with pretty similar results.

I'm at BRiver, it's been doing this for a month or more, even daytime, to

Hi Jim;
They have been doing this for at least the last month, if not longer. I
logged them years ago but since I also keep a separate ULR log, I added
them to that book on November 10th. WMOB 1360 (Mobile AL) has been on
day power a lot as has WGIV 1370-NC.

So are both CIOR and CKGR in the Okanagan Valley area? Both ID as EZ Rock,
both play Oldies/AC? If so then I still don't know which one I heard and
can't claim it for the log.

No, wouldn't have come near 1400, let alone spent hours now listening there.

I am almost totally opposite as Steve - I DX domestics (US/Canada)
almost exclusively. However I have never had the patience or touch to
DX the Graveyarders (1230, 1240, 1340, 1400, 1450 and 1490) with much
success. Now I have heard some distant ones, VA, MN and FL for instance

CIOR is on as far as I know. A regular here most nights.

On 1400 I'm hearing mentions of "Okanagan" and "EZ Rock"; music is

radio-locator.com indicates CKGR supposedly still on; no mention at all of
CIOR.

Listened from 1405-1425 utc and more carriers were heard than the last few

It was interesting from the other side of the pond also apparently,
Barry. Steve Whitt from the UK reported in MW Circle list:

Last night brought in some trans-Atlantic signals at exceptional
strength - probably the strongest signals this season.
I also noticed an interesting effect.
I have noticed in the past couple of days that WCXN is way over WWVA at
sunset and sunrise. I have not logged them previously, but now it is really
easy. At first I thought it was Carribean or South America, but numerous
mentions of businesses in Heekory (sic) and Lincolnton narrowed it down.

JOUB 774 heard fading in & out at 1316-1343 UTC with man & woman talking,

splash), & 972 kHz.
Receiver: Tecsun PL-310 with 7.5" loopstick. Sunrise was at 1333 UTC.

I see Dennis in SW Washington indicated before I could that there is at least
one directional AM in Alaska. The last I knew there were two, and the other one
might be KJNP 1170 North Pole (near Fairbanks). I know they at least used to
