Hope you're taking photos. These'd be great cover pix for DX bulletins, for
club web sites, better yet even guidebooks of stations. Maybe you could even
sell ones to pubs like the WRTH or Monitoring Times... Just be sure pix are
hi-rez and well focused. Best bet is to take lots of photos, good

It's an excellent movie - the acting is splendid and the story is
fascinating.
I'm told that the scenes that feature what appears to be a BBC
I was on the west side of Carbondale, Illinois sitting in the car spinning
the dial while waiting for my roomie to grab something from work.
I hit the AM dial, and after passing local WJPF 1340, the dial stopped on
1370kHz and I heard what sounded like standards music. The signal wasn't
great,
You're right about the echo, but it was a neat shot. If only I had a studio
like that back in the day...

I bought a Tecsun PL-606, which took abt 3 wks to arrive from Singapore,
total ~$60 (incl shipping). Sweet little radio! FM is superb, surprisingly
sensitive. LW is so-so; haven't heard a single thing yet (but I'm in a noisy
so-so reception area). AM is very good, terrifically directional w/the
Spanish unIDs from the evening of Jan 8 at Burnt River ON. Clips posted online,
and would be grateful to anyone who might be able to ID them.
