On Sunday night 12 March Don Moore invited me to connect my Perseus to
a 400' south BOG at his folk's home here in central PA, and we let the
SDR's running all night. I'm just now starting to review the
recordings, and have found a number of new stations. The beam of the
antenna was pointed ~ 180
Is there any way of locking the PL 606's thumbwheel tuning into the fast
tuning mode? ie - 10 KHz per change vice 1 KHz per? If not, I could add
all Domestic frequencies to the memory (530-1700) and scroll through them
in VF mode.
Never thought that I'd miss a direct entry keypad

I noticed WLAC off the air this morning at about 2:15, but I didn't hear
anything other than static.

Kaz,
On 1940 kHz during the day I get KPAM 860 KFXX 1080 mixing. During night
evening
KPAM is not a problem going to 15 kw from 50 kw and their directional antennas
kicks in.
best regards,

Steve,
Thanks for the updated information on Caribbean Beacon 1610. I read on line
that they started out with 50 kw and one site said they have a 200 kw repeater?
Their shortwave on 6090 puts in a good signal here.
best regards,
Dennis,
