Conditions were good to the West again this morning with several Winnipeg area
Stations heard, Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on 920 and KFAB 1110 Omaha also
blasting in!!
One NEW Station for both the OVERALL LOG and ULR LOG was heard. This is a 250
Watt DAYTIME ONLY Station that
Hi Guys:
After some more Detective Work...I see that WJOT 1510 actually has a PSRA that
allows them to sign on the air EARLY before Sunrise. So they were actually
supposed to be on the air when I heard them @ 0554 EST!!!

Hi, Rob!
They might have come on a few minutes early, but legally any station with a
PSRA is limited to signing on no earlier than 6:00 AM their local time in
months where the sun rises later. In the case of WJOT local time is EST, so
you caught them on in a period when technically they
off to work at 1520UT, but no reason to stick around and listen to a
few carriers, hi.

Conditions down from yesterday morning. No Chinese stations heard this morning
with the best MW signal being JOUB 774 with a brief fair signal. Stations
heard on this date last season posted on bottom of page. Have a nice Tuesday.

Absolute insanity... and it gives me the feeling that nobody currently
running/working for Vatican Radio has a clue about DXing, reception reports,
QSLing, etc.--or cares any longer. This sounds very much like what you
experienced with Danmarks Radio (i.e. clearing out their stock of QSL cards
FWIW, Randy, I have received QSLs properly filled out for 1530 and 1611, so
I'd try again with a follow-up on your 1611. I can't give you a name or
title because neither of thoese earlier cards was signed. I think they
forwarded my recent showrtwave letter to one of the program people because

Very faint audio this morning on both 1566 and 1593. Too faint
to ID language in either case. Most of the other freqs with decent
carriers seemed to indicate a DU pattern (891, 1116,1314,1476,1548).
1575 had two decent carriers, one presumably VOA, and a second running
about 50 Hz

IDs as Money Matters Radio Network and WBNW 1120 Boston Business Talk and also
in Parallel to the Live Webfeed which is a little behind the Over the Air
Signal.
