I just heard about this on the local news. I wonder how much this will

be testing a variety of digital modes on March 16 and 17.
The data transmissions can be decoded by anyone with an AM shortwave receiver
using any of the popular sound-card-based programs such as

Listened from 1330-1424 utc. This morning receptions covered Long wave, Medium
Wave and the Tropical band. Seemed like average conditions here for this time
of the season.

Thanks, Russ. If I were to guess between the three I'd guess WNRG Grundy VA.
They ran dead air between Solid Gospel and news (I think it was SRN) and then
back to gospel, without any kind of ID or local programming.

Hearing KRXR Idaho, KBMS Vancouver, WA and at times, I'm assuming KGOE Eureka,
CA with Art Bell;'s Somewhere In Time program. KBXD does have a live stream.
I have not heard the religious programming on my receiver that KBXD is playing.

Nothing being heard on 1480 khz in London, ONTARIO either Saul..Mostly just
a loud BUZZ on the Frequency tonight!!
Heard a clear ESPN and sports talk on 760 on ssw wire. I'll check later to see
if any other ESPNs on 760. My NRC log says just one. This would be new here
(prev heard in Toronto).
A couple English stations in there mixing u/WJR-MI. Overland Park KS may also
be in - not sure.

No sign of it in Seattle, just loud rb music from KBMS and Spanish from
presumed KRXR

Still not a peep out of Dallas 1480. I think if they are running morse
code, I could get some of it u/Gooding ID, but so far no one is hearing
it. I wonder if they forgot to run the test? A-10/K-1 the last time I
checked. KSTP 1500 is coming in just fine at S9+10.

Dennis Vroom reports checking KBXD web stream at BOH and no test tones. I will
check TOH and decide whether to call it a night.
Had a huge tantalising surge of Mexican accordion music on 990 a few minutes
ago...and a very slight chance that there's some kind of ID in there, but not
sure.
