Wow...
What is also interesting is that you were hearing these during the
hour before the opening started here, when it was, in fact, pretty
dead. I think that K9AY is coupled to a coastal Beverage.
best wishes,

I did automated SDR recordings on the 8th and 10th, but had some technical

propagation from Nick's DX Fishbarrel, but this did not happen here. Many

Hello All,
Thanks to Walt, Dennis and Brian for their detailed TP-DU reports this morning.
Conditions here were almost identical to those noted by Dennis, with the
Japanese on 594, 747 and 828 reaching good levels at times. 1575-VOA also made
a fair appearance here at 1330, and the Koreans

In contrast to some reports from my peers, today actually seemed better
than yesterday - that said, I did start later and stay later so I took
advantage of a big pre-dawn bump.
Loaded up some You-Tube videos -- links coming up below.
Highlights - a solid steady signal from AM-940 in Honolulu.

Nigel, I find your report very interesting. It appears that there's a
delay of 1 day over what we experienced on the coast which was today a
major shift to Asian propagation, with much weaker DU activity. My
prediction is that you'll experience what we had this morning, tomorrow
morning! Time
Have not checked the dial tonight but the GEO reports look promising.
My forecast: Very good TP reception to Japan, China and Korea tomorrow.

I was DXing live while making my 2200 CDT recording and paid attention to the

it and I stuck around for the WDMC Melbourne-Vero Beach ID. They are religious.

After yesterday's great session I was expecting a letdown today. As
it turned out, things were nearly as good as yesterday. Yesterday's top
signals were down considerably today, but on the other hand some
