The low band wasn't quite as poor as Bruce found, though it is true
that the NHK2 big guns were better around 1200UT. And yes, there
was a pip heard on 1467 at 1400UT here, but nothing else to hang
one's hat on. Generally, there wasn't anything that was consistently
strong, but JOJK-1224 and

It was an odd morning. The bottom of the band was downright horrible,

rather interesting with carriers on most channels. The NHK transmitters

Initial results are outstanding! Excellent nulls and more sensitive than
the SAL-30.
I am planning on rotating the D-KAZ tomorrow to 45/225 and doing more A/B
tests vs the SAL-30. More details soon.

Hi Phil,
I built a filter a few years ago and posted the pics on ABDX. I'm not sure if
it made a difference but I figure it doesn't hurt.
Let me know if you can't get to the pics.

Hi Brandon,
I hope you can give us the good news about how well the D-KAZ works.
I now have a Vactrol setup here from a DX friend that I will try tomorrow
when I get home from work. Hopefully I can learn a lot when compared to my
fixed Rt method. 73 KAZ

The stuff on frequencies ending in zero is covered by levels of interference

Obviously the designers and builders of the FSL antennas have done a
remarkable job in pursuing the elusive "trans oceanic" stations using these
unique antenna and ULR radios. The creativity, testing and research that
that has been conducted by Gary and others is commendable.

2.5 mm x 5.5 mm barrel plug. Thankfully Wellbrook no longer uses center
negative power, I blew quite a few fuses in years past on the K9AY and ALA330
series loops.

Pretty much my results with the earlier wake up thanks to DST. Perhaps a
